Consultancy The company has a privileged client base in both the political sphere and corporate world. Clients include Microsoft, The Financial Times, BAE Systems, ESS Global, Food and Drink Federation, BMW, Mars and British Airways. CU2 also offers a wide range of consultancy work to companies and charities covering strategies for sponsorship and charitable giving to branding, compliance and administration.
Research CU2 carries out and commissions political research .
PR The company gives advice on a range of subjects, from corporate branding to speech writing.

CU2 commissions and carries out specialised political and strategic research on behalf of corporate and individual clients, NGOs and charities. We have particular expertise in assessing political and investment risk for organisations considering involvement in emerging or as yet untapped markets . The foreign policy foundations of conflict prevention and resolution are also a focus of our work.
CU2 builds on the relationships established in our political consultancy work to assist our clients to forge new partnerships for their businesses. Founded in 1999 CU2LTD has become a highly regarded solutions business. All clients receive Mark Cann's personal attention and advice. Mark is a highly regarded lateral thinker with a wide personal and business network. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to guarantee that all of our clients are 100% satisfied.
Mark is the Chief Executive of The British Forces Foundation, Burma Star Memorial Fund and ERSF Foundation (registered charities).Educated at Repton School, and Loughborough University (BA (Hon) in Politics and History). In the Army as a 17/21 and Queen’s Royal Lancer for 12 years. Served on operations to Belize, Mozambique, Bosnia, and Cyprus. He retired, a Major, having been an Operations Officer, Adjutant and Squadron Leader.
As Chief Executive of The British Forces Foundation (a morale boosting charity for serving members of the Armed Forces) Mark specialises in putting on entertainment events mainly in Operational Theatres. Many of these projects have been televised as documentaries, including BBC Homeward bound for Christmas and James Blunts return to Kosovo, and were produced by Mark. He won the Charity Times ‘Principle of the year’ award in 2009. He regularly appears on TV and Radio and in the written press as an intelligent commentator on current events.
Mark is also a Director of CU2 Ltd (a successful ‘Events, Consultancy and PR’ company with a small property portfolio) and ChariAdmin Ltd (which supports charities such as Burma Star Memorial Fund and ERSF (a grant giving Foundation) and Trustee of Friends of PoloAfrica (a life enhancing, education and personal development charity for young people in South Africa).
He has a deep interest in Politics, very nearly became an MP and is a respected adviser on Charity, Foreign Affairs and Defence .
Mark’s Who’s Who listing describes a passion for all sports especially Skiing, Polo, Boating and Tennis; first edition political autobiographies, twentieth century novels and Karsh portraits.
Mark is married to Emma a very talented equestrian, School Governor and company director. They have a daughter Emily and twin boys, Frederick and Barnaby. They live in Wiltshire.

How to find us
BY ROAD
From the M4 - Exit junction 15, take the A346 to Marlborough and then the A345 to Pewsey.
From the M3 - Exit junction 8 and take the A303 to Andover. Leave the A303 at Andover, taking the A342 to Devizes. Continue through Ludgershall and Everleigh to Upavon. There, take the A345 to Pewsey.
BY TRAIN
Direct to Pewsey from London Paddington. Journey time is just over an hour. Trains depart London and Pewsey fairly regularly. Check GWR.com for details.
BY BUS
There are regular daytime bus services from Pewsey and Devizes.
